Case Manager – Oceanside Safe Parking

Hourly Pay: $23.50 - $24.50

The Case Manager is responsible for providing advocacy, information and referrals for participants within the Safe Parking Program. This is a part-time position with typical working hours 6:00-10:00 p.m. five evenings a week equating to approximately 20 hours a week.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down program operations
  • Conduct intake and assessments for new participants
  • Develop service plan with a focus on financial stability and re-housing
  • Provide individualized resources and referrals to community programs
  • Assist with clients in advocating for services for which they qualify
  • Provide employment development support
  • Work with Housing Specialist for client re-housing
  • Develop partnerships with other community-based organizations
  • Outcomes and data management into HMIS for participants activities and accomplishments
  • Follow-up with participants who have exited the program
  • Assist in oversight of interns during program operations
  • Meet for supervision bi-weekly
  • Other duties as assigned

The Safe Parking Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, planning, organizing, implementing, and coordinating a variety of activities related to the Safe Parking Program that serves individuals living in a vehicle. The Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Program Manager, and partnering agencies to ensure project goals are met and accomplished. The Coordinator is responsible for daily program operations.
