Each day our Safe Parking participants have to make the difficult decisions between food, gas, medicine, and other basic needs. By providing nourishing food, you’re not only filling their stomachs but also offering them warmth and care. Your generosity can make a huge difference in their lives.

Volunteers at Dreams for Change’s Safe Sleeping Site in San Diego have the incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness. Field Education and Internship is an essential element of Social Work education. If you are enrolled in a Social Work Program at one of our participating schools. We may have opportunities at one of our programs to provide real-life practice situations, skill building, and upholding professional social work ethics and values standards, all under an experienced clinical supervisor.

Become a Volunteer IRS Certified Tax Preparer. People with basic taxes often find tax filing overwhelming and need your help. In California alone, over 6 million residents– including your neighbors, co-workers, and friends– live in poverty. Many of these taxpayers turn to paid tax preparers. However, the tax industry is unregulated, and many paid preparers don’t provide the quality services people need. We can train you to become a VITA Volunteer.
